Artists-in-resident scheme: An interview with Daniel Navarro Lorenzo

Daniel Navarro Lorenzo from Barcelona has worked with Y-Space as a resident artist for a month from October to November. How did he enjoy the times? Read below and know more about his experience.

The hustle and bustle of Y-Space in October

In October, Y-Space's Artistic Director Victor Ma and Education and Outreach Director Mandy Yim had a busy schedule. Victor joined the production The World According to Dance and participated in the 11^th International Expressive Arts Therapy Association (IEATA) Conference, and led a workshop in a very special venue. Meanwhile, Mandy travelled to Kagoshima to for i-Dance Japan 2015. The efforts and commitment of both have received positive and inspiring feedback among the participants.

Eductaion & Outreach programme: Workshop series in Tin Shui Wai community

In August, Y-Space stepped into the Tin Shui Wai community, to provide a series of workshops for the local residents. In the collaboration with Jockey Club Tin Shui Wai Integrated Services Centre, Victor and Mandy led 4 sessions of workshops on 4 Saturdays. Participants from the community involved passionately, as to re-open their mind and body. Throughout the sessions, they were allowed to explore the peace in the body, and release their mental pressure from daily hassles…
