YU Tak Yin (Siuyin) is one of the pioneer street dancers starting from 1999, he was the first to bring Funk Style and HipHop Freestyle into Hong Kong in 2005, and founded Hong Kong first popping dance company “Since’ 70s” in the same year. Leading the funk style and street dance culture, Siuyin curated different guests workshops and organised international competitions include Funkology and Funkzilla.
He visited Switzerland, France, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, the Netherlands, China, etc for cultural exchange, competitions and workshops. He won lots of local and international competitions include KOD 2006 (Cjoma) , Old School Night 2011 (Japan), Battleism (Taiwan) , etc., and he was invited as judges in international competitions like R16 2015, etc..
