Ming PAK (Pak Wei Ming) is an independent choreographer and performing dance artist based in Hong Kong. He graduated in 2013 with a BFA (Hons) in Contemporary Dance from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. He was awarded a full DanceWEB programme scholarship to participate in ImPulsTanz Vienna International Dance Festival 2013 where he worked with USA base artist Trajal Harrell (RITE OF SUMMER) and Montpellier Dance Festival in France 2015. As a performer he has worked with John Utans(Australia), Anh Ngoc Nguyen(Vietnam), Dam Van Huyh(UK), Avatara Ayuso (UK), Victor Fung(HK).
Pak has choreographed and produced works independently since 2009; including: INNERMOST, ROBOT (Dance Video), LOST IN THE CITY (Site-Specific), TINT and INTERPRETATIONS 2 (Stage) which were selected by City Contemporary Dance Company to be performed at the Beijing and Guangdong Dance Festival. Pak has frequently taken part in cultural exchanges in Taiwan, Germany, Israel , Vienna and France.
